A Real Conversation About LMS Transformation

Grab a coffee and join us for a conversation-led session with the team behind a digital learning transformation that's already being held up as a best practice example for institutions worldwide.

The University of the West of England (UWE Bristol) is a public research university in Bristol, UK, with more than 38,000 students and a mission to prepare learners to solve the global problems of the future. In 2025, they completed a full institution-wide migration to Blackboard LMS (Ultra) — a key milestone in their ongoing digital transformation journey —and were named a global Blackboard Catalyst Award winner for Leading Change—one of just 32 winners selected from 161 nominations across 24 countries.

In this session, the UWE Bristol Digital Learning Team will share how they planned the transition, engaged faculty, and built momentum, with a special highlight on their innovative student navigator program.
